Our reading for 20 minutes campaign was very successful when we were fully online Nov/Dec

As a team, we stayed true to the PLC process and had focused conversations that led to action tasks that produced a good foundation for next year.

First Grade Collaborative Team

Our first grade classrooms integrated the STI Honorable teachings into our entire day, in all content areas, rather than just during the mornings.

We grew tremendously in our knowledge of technology and were able to dramatically increase the skills of our students and in ourselves.

Students who attended online and hybrid classes regularly made very good growth over the course of the school year. This is tremendous in light of all the issues that were encountered this year.

Fifth Grade Collaborative Team

We've seen a lot of growth in students around independence and intrinsic motivation!

We have become a more tight-knit team when it comes to implementing and analyzing CFA's. We have established a cycle of assessing, analyzing the work, and reflecting on the quality of the CFA.

Our team is celebrating pushing through uncertain conditions and coming out stronger because of it.

We are also celebrating building such a strong team (with 2 members being new to the school) that can work together through anything. We all value each other's thoughts, opinions, and perspectives. ELA best team!!! <3 <3 <3

Kindergarten Collaborative Team

Our students did really well on iReady. We have seen progress on their writing skills, counting to 100 and being able to recognize the letters and sounds in the alphabet.

Our students have shown great appreciation for the Muckleshoot culture, language and histories. Our students enjoyed tasting the camas, harvesting the dandelions, seeing the cedar steam and learning many other Honorable Teachings.

We have seen growth in their social-emotional skills since getting back in the classroom and we have seen bonds made virtually as well.

3rd Grade Collab Team

We feel successful at integrating STI Honobrable teaching lessons to our daily routines.

Kids loved doing intervention groups for online Fridays and going to see a different teacher and students.

Our students all grew in reading levels.

Secondary Math

This year has been challenging for a variety of reasons. Our team is celebrating the way we supported not only our students, but each other, holding one another up despite so many uncertainties.

Despite being such a stressful year, secondary math was excited to see a tremendous amount of growth in our i-Ready data, with multiple students growing one or more grade levels over the course of the year.

This year we collaborated closely with ELA and Science, effectively finding ways to support student learning. Next year, we hope to implement a common informational text unit and word wall.

We are also in the process of identifying three reading and writing strategies that can be used across all content areas. These strategies will assist in filling academic gaps and increase motivation and persistence levels.
