Humans Of Liberty Final Draft
Why did you select this piece of work for your conference piece?
I selected this piece of work for many reasons, but my main reason was because I felt as if it described me best. It highlighted a traumatic event in my life, and the aftermath. I was allowed to share part of my story, and what I have been through. Looking back, I can't help but smile at how my young self dealt with the situation, especially at such a young age.

The Emotional Grasp-Theme Essay
What skills have you learned from doing this piece?
I learned many skills from writing this, and visited skills I didn't know I knew. I learned many new words, such as “implore” and “importunity.” I learned how to connect the theme to the message of the short story, and so much more. Overall, I can see how my writing skills have changed thanks to this unit.

One Strength I Possess In ELA:

One of the many strengths I believe I possess when it comes to writing is how to connect sentences easily, and how to use in depth vocabulary. When it comes to using different words to describe objects or people, I try my best to stay away from words such as “kind” or “mean.” I tend to find these words very bland, so I try my best to look up greater words like “lovingly,” or “deceptive.”

One Skill I Wish To Improve Upon:

There are many skills I wish to improve on, but one that sticks out is breaking down text. I tend to struggle when it comes to breaking down text, and finding patterns; despite my brain constantly looking for patterns for tests, I fail to recognize them when reading. I can notice obvious things, such as a message the author is trying to give, but I fail to notice the writing style often. This is something I wish to improve upon, but I know it will be very different.
