I first sat down in front of a computer when I was twelve. I discovered a huge and endless world that completely got my attention. I met a handful of guys who shared this passion with me. We got to come together every once in a while and “set up a company” called Novatech. Well, actually we pretended we were setting up a company (we were in our teens). We started loads of videogames and only finished two of them: Tekos and Mortaria. Bearing in mind that we had to program them in a MS-DOS environment and C language, without the help of those amazing tools such as Unity or Construct 2, the outcome was amazing by then.

After studying a VET Course in Image I got to work as a Computer Graphics Technician. I finished hundreds of projects for architectural visualization for almost seven years. Those seven years, between 2001 and 2008, when tons of new buildings seemed to appear in no time here in Spain. Then, the recession hit and I was forced to turn to something else.

I set up a company with Rafael Laudo by the name of Tamakum Interactive. We developed an amazing social networking site for casual gamers, Tamakum. We also developed a software called Simple WebTV that allows you to get a WebTV done with no effort.

After resigning that company I joined a huge special center of employment called Espurna. It’s a kind of a nonprofit organization that deals with disabled people. I programmed there from scratch a software called IntegraDis that helps deal with such organizations. It was the biggest project I’d ever made and it took me four years to finish while I was studying my Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching at once.

In 2013 both my wife Ana Martí and I set up a company called Labolú. It’s an innovative center of out-of-school activities for primary pupils. We strongly believe that teachers’ best bet in order to help pupils learn something significant is through motivating activities. Therefore, we teach them how to develope videogames, build robots, become a journalistor a serious writer or even how to deal with their emotions. While they are carrying out these activities, they’re improving their skills such as logical thinking, communicative abilities, learning how to work with a group, solving problems and so on.

Recently I joined a school called “Esclavas del S.C.J.” as a Primary Teacher. I teach arts and crafts in English, music, reinforcement as well as I hold the position as an ICT responsible due to my technical background.
