This was a fun project and I enjoyed finding people to take photos of. One thing I learned from this project was how to capture the subjects emotion in the picture.

Clone Photography

Taking photos was a little challenging with trying to make sure you didn’t accidentally cover yourself up, but it was still fun. In photoshop I learned how to layer the photos to clone myself. From this project I also learned to be more aware of where your subjects are in the photo.

This was my favorite photo from the professional headshots because of the high contrast in the black and white edit. Overall this project was enjoyable, and I'm glad I learned how to make a good headshot.

6 Word Memoir

This project was simple and fun, but I did have a hard time deciding my six word memoir. Taking the photos was a new experience on finding out how to line the hand up to the face. This photo is an example of that learning curve, but it is still my favorite for many reasons.

Portrait Illustrations

I enjoyed learning how to paint and shade images in photoshop during this project. I lost a couple of days trying to figure out how to shade and highlight properly, and another day to find out how to get everything to blend. By then I was running short on time so it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped.

Animal Illustration

I like how it turned out but I know this illustration could have been better. I was behind on the portrait illustration, which cut into the time I could spend on this one. I had already learned the properties I needed to know for this illustration so I was able to get it done on time, but again not as good as I would have liked.

Surreal Levitation Photography

Editing on this project was fun and fairly easy. The hardest part of this project was making sure before you took your photos nothing would be cut off. My favorite part was making some books float around me.

Tiny Planet

I liked this project but it was hard to get a panoramic photo that would properly aline to make a planet. It was worth it when you got the results and the editing was overall easy. I loved learning the process of making a tiny planet and would do it again.

Polyvector Portrait

I liked this project and when we began I really embraced it when Mrs. Carmac said small triangles. I made the left side of her hair with way too tiny triangle so it looks realistic but took up too much time and lost the purpose of making a poly vector portrait. I learned to be patient with myself and to trust the process.

Playing Cards

For these I did the Jack, Queen, King, and Joker. I loved learning how to make your own playing cards. My favorite part of this project was adding teachers to the playing cards.

Nature Photos

This was my favorite photo from the project. It looked good before the editing, but after it became even better and more vibrant. In this project I learned how to find good angles and how to use lighting to your advantage.

Choice Macro Cars

I like this photo and how your eyes get drawn upward, and I chose this edit because makes the effect more prominent. In this project I learned how I could manipulate the angle and frame to make ordinary things just a bit more interesting.

DIY Week

For this week of editing my favorite edit was this neon glow edit. It was interesting to learn how to create this effect in photoshop, but I think my final product turned out fairly well.

Choice 2: Leading Lines

I enjoyed this week and there were several photos that were all in the running for the best of the week, but this photo won. I learned some patience when attempting to take this photo because it took several attempts to get everything lined up, and for the camera to focus in on the right things. Though the finished project is worth it to me.

While this isn't one of the edited motion pictures it is still one of my favorites. For this project I learned how to wait for the right moment to take the photo so I could get clear photos.

Reflection

I enjoyed taking this class and would recommend it to anyone who liked photography. Throughout the semester I have been able to learn different forms of photography. An example would be the professional headshots and the Warhol portraits. I also loved learning more about photoshop and seeing what can be done using it. My favorite would have to be the illustrations. Overall for taking photos this class has taught me to consider angles, and frames, light, and shadow. Everything about this class has turned me into a better photographer.
