Yes, I believe recovery from a lack of socialization in early development years is possible but it is made more difficult later in their development if not learned earlier. The brain's ability to adapt and form new neural connections decreases with age. Social skills and other abilities are best learned when the brain is most flexible, which is in the stages of childhood.

In genies case she never fully recovered from the isolation but she was alone for 14 years and abused in several other ways which i think played into her not fully recovering. For "smaller" time periods like a couple of months or years (1 month- 5 years) i think they could recover enough to interact in society

Yes, I do think so because when you hit puberty it is not really possible, like what happened to Genie. But like Isabelle, she fully recovered and caught up to the development of other kids of her age. Anna had no human socialization and was also able to slowly develop the skills need to interact with other people. So, if child is found at a young age, then they can fully recover.

Because the brain isn't going through yet puberty, which can cause someone way of thinking to change. But I personally believe that children with some type of parent, like mother, father or even grandparents can recover quicker. Since they have someone to encourage, or comfort them while they try to recover.

Yes, a child can recover from a lack of human socialization if they were found early on and given access to professional help immediately to start the process of recovery. Though the longer they're kept in isolation the less likely they would be able to recover from the years of isolation. Like in genies case she was kept in isolation until the age 14, past puberty and was never able to recover. Though Isabella was found at 6 and was able to recover. One major difference in them though is the presence of Isabella's mother.

Children can fully recover from a lack of socialization in their early development if the conditions are right, as seen with the situation with Isabelle. She was able to completely regain her footing and become the typical teenager. I do believe that certain factors may decrease the rates of social development seen in an isolated child, and a multitude of factors could make progress either more difficult or even impossible.
