         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students using testing accommodations may be asked or required to take their exams at the Accommodated Testing Center in the Tiger Learning Commons. <a href="https://teton.accessiblelearning.com/Trinity">SAS Link</a> should be used to schedule exams being taken at the ATC with testing accommodations. <br><br>The following things should be considered with scheduling an exam using SAS Link: </div><ol><li>Students MUST request exam dates and times AT LEAST 3 days in advance of the actual exam date. </li><li>Students MUST schedule the exam for the same date and time as the rest of class is taking it. </li><li>If a student needs to take the exam at a different date or time, they must request that with the instructor and get prior approval to taking the exam at the ATC.</li><li>Instructors are required to submit an "Alternative Testing Agreement" prior to students taking an exam for their classes in the ATC. HOWEVER, students may still schedule their exams whether or not the agreement has been completed by the instructor. <strong>If you see that your instructor has not submitted an agreement yet, please take an opportunity to remind your instructor to fill out an Alternative Testing Agreement with the ATC. </strong></li></ol>]]></description>

         <title>Scheduling an Exam at the ATC</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To schedule an exam in SAS Link, students should follow these steps: </div><ol><li>Login to SAS Link. </li><li>On the left hand side of the landing page, there is a section called "My Accommodations." </li><li>Underneath "My Accommodations," there is the <strong>"Alternative Testing"</strong> portal. Click on it to start your exam request.  </li><li>Select which class you would like to test for, then click on "Schedule an Exam."</li><li>Scroll down to "Exam Detail." Fill out the information related to your exam and accommodations. </li><li>Select which type of exam (Exam, Midterm, Quiz, or Final) on "Request Type." NOTE: Look at 'Exam Schedule Availability' for further details on the scheduling requirements for each exam type.</li><li>Put in the date and time you wish to take the exam.</li><li>Select which accommodations you need for your test under "Services Requested."</li><li>If there is equipment you need the ATC to provide for you, select it in the "Required Technology" section. </li><li>If you have any additional comments, write them in the "Additional Notes" box.</li><li>Review your request before submitting it. Once you have reviewed your request, click "Add Exam Request." </li><li>You will receive an email confirming your request has been received by the ATC.</li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students can make modifications on their exam requests made through SAS Link. Making modifications to your request DOES NOT guarantee that those changes can be made and are subject to approval by the ATC staff. Students making modifications should take the following steps: </div><ol><li>Login to SAS Link and go to "Alternative Testing."</li><li>You will see a list of your upcoming exams. On the right hand side of the request is "Modify Request." Click on it to make your modifications to your request. </li><li>Once you have made your modifications, you will be required to provide a reason for modifying your exam request. Click on "Update Exam Request" once you have completed your changes. </li><li>Return to the testing overview, and you can see the status of your request. Your status will say "Changes Pending Approval." Wait for the ATC to approve the updated request. The ATC may reach out to propose alternatives to your modification.</li><li>If you need to cancel your modification request, click on "Cancel Pending Changes."</li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students may also use SAS Link to cancel the exam requests they made with the ATC. <strong>Students should discuss the reasons for canceling their schedule exam with their instructor PRIOR to cancelling the request in SAS Link</strong><strong><em>. </em></strong>Students cancelling their exam request should following these steps: </div><ol><li>Login to SAS Link and go to "Alternative Testing" found underneath "My Accommodations" on the left hand side of the screen. </li><li>The upcoming exams will pop up on the screen. On the right hand side of the requests will be "Cancel Request." Click it on the exam request you wish to cancel.</li><li>The screen will provide you with some information about your cancellation. If you only need to make changes to your request, click on "Do Not Cancel and List All Exams" and select "Modify Request" instead.</li><li>Make sure you selected the correct exam before proceeding. Click on "Confirm Cancellation" to complete your cancellation request. </li><li>The request will be sent to the ATC who will approve your cancellation.</li><li>If you need to undo your cancellation request before ATC approves it, then select "Cancel Pending Request."</li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students looking to schedule an appointment with their Accessibility Specialist can take the following steps:</div><ol><li>Login to SAS Link. </li><li>On the left-hand side of the screen, under the "Home" menu, you will see an option for "Request for Appointment." </li><li>After selecting this link, you will be taken to a separate page for appointment requests. Select "Request an Appointment." </li><li>This will take to you one final page where you can select and enter information necessary for your Accessibility Specialist to successfully schedule an appointment with you. <ol><li>To start, confirm any accommodations you may need for the meeting under "Accommodation Requested," the method by which you are hoping to meet under "Type," and add any notes you may have on the purpose of the meeting under "Notes or Concerns." </li><li>Under "Appointment Purposes," select the most appropriate option. See <strong>Appointment Types</strong> for descriptions on each type of appointment purpose. </li><li>Finally, select AT LEAST 3 different times you are available over the next two weeks under "Select Your Availability."</li></ol></li><li>Once you have confirmed all of the information, click "Submit Request for Appointment." </li><li>You will receive a confirmation and calendar request with a meeting link once the appointment request has been confirmed and scheduled by your Accessibility Specialist.</li></ol>]]></description>

To assist with addressing student needs efficiently, students may select from a variety of different appointment purpose types, including: </div><ol><li><em>Discussing Options for Documentation- </em>This appointment is for students who would like to discuss what documentation they may need to get to support a specific request for an accommodation. </li><li><em>Initial Appointment- </em>This appointment is for students who are requesting their initial discussion and approval of accommodations with SAS. </li><li><em>General Check-In- </em>This appointment is for students who want an opportunity to casually check-in with their Accessibility Specialist for reasons OTHER THAN discussing accommodations.</li><li><em>Learning Intervention Session- </em>The appointment is for students who meet with the SAS Learning Specialist on a regular basis for academic assistance. </li><li><em>Additional Accommodation Inquiry- </em>This appointment is for students who would like to discuss <strong>the possibility</strong> of additional accommodation qualification with their Accessibility Specialist.  </li><li><em>Additional Accommodation Review- </em>This appointment is for students who have submitted additional documentation and would like to meet to discuss the approval of additional accommodation qualification.</li><li><em>Discussing Faculty Concern- </em>This appointment is for students who would like to discuss an accommodation-related concern related to something their faculty said or did. </li></ol>]]></description>
