Having a little bit of background knowledge on Hanford, I already know it's a bad deal. It has caused lots of previous trauma to hundreds of people. This line is powerful and, has a really great representation of when we should've considered how things could've affected people before it was too late. Instead of empathy, we chose ignorance.
