When two different atoms are put in the same space they will eventually collide however the speed at which they travel can affect this. If they collide fast enough they will react and this is called a successful collision, if they don't because they are too slow they will bounce off each other and continue. </div>]]></description>

When two different types of atoms are put together, they will eventually collide. If they collide slowly, with insufficient kinetic energy, they will simply bounce off each other. If they however collide quickly with sufficient kinetic energy, they will react - this is known as a successful collision. When they react, the atoms will bond together and form a new compound.          <description><![CDATA[<div>"Particles must collide with each other in order to react" Most particles, when they are constantly moving, will usually act like balls in a game of pool and when they collide they would bounce of each other. The minimum energy required for a reaction to occur is called the activation energy, and this differentiates for different molecules. Generally speaking, temperature will allow the reaction to occur faster because when temperature is increased so is the average kinetic energy within a molecule. But, some reactions have more factors that might not let the reaction happen, such as angle. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When atoms are moving, they contain kinetic energy. When they collide in just the right way with enough kinetic energy also known as activation energy, they produce the products. The rate of reactions or the amount of product made (usually denoted by a percentage) depends on many factors like temperature, pressure, concentration, catalysts and external processes like removing the product after part of the reaction. For temperature, a medium temperature is good because a low temperature is very slow for the reaction and that is bad. A high temperature is also because the products will break down to the reactants in order to use the extra energy.</div>]]></description>

They are randomly moving in a sealed container and are bouncing off the walls aka they have some amount of kinetic energy. Eventually, they will collide against each other. When this happens, there are two outcomes:<br><br>1. They have enough kinetic energy to collide with each other and react to form a new compound. This is called a successful collision.<br><br>2. They don’t have enough kinetic energy and when they collide, they just bounce off each other and go colliding with walls etc to gain more kinetic energy. This is called an unsuccessful collision.</div>]]></description>
