  • Communicate openness. Try to be the example to colleauges about trying new things and broadening what they previously thought was right

  • Put it into a practice run with students so teachers can see an example of the benefit of the new group before implementing it into the whole school. This will give a chance for them to see how it is going and add in their comments/critiques for how it is running for a more collaborative approach.

    Self-Monitoring - When forming your perception of the loads of information coming in, monitor your reactions. Take the time to not react off of frustration for the snowballed issue and respond empathetically.

    Meaningful Communication and Active listening - Making sure teacher's feel comfortable coming to you with issues and communicating that you care in order to establish a relationship of openness.
