So what people will do to the witch is that they will take them to court. And one of the ways that they can do to see if the woman is a witch is that they will put them on water and but handcuffs and if the women flout that means that they are a witch and if the women sink and dead they are not a witch. The sad part is that whatever thing that they do to you it will kill you either way and there is no way that you can save yourself. Also, other ways that they will test if you are a witch is that they will make you take off all of your clothes and they will try to find a third nip. Another way that they were able to determine if they were a witch is that they will use a needle and they will cut them and if it is instantly healthy that means that they are a witch.

And also maintaining that the Church of English had not to jet been fully reformed and should become more Protestant. What the Puritans believe is that it was necessary to be in a covenant relationship with God in order to be redeemed from one's sinful condition. And God had chosen to reveal salvation through preaching. And that the Holy Spirit was the energizing instrument of salvation.

Its a "City upon a hill" is a phrase derived from the teaching of Salt and Light in Jesus's Sermon on the Mount. And in a modern context it is used in United States politics to refer to American acting as a "beacon of hope" for the world. The main idea of city upon a hill the eyes of all people are upon us. Which means that Puritans failed to uphold their covenant with God. Then their sins and errors would be exposed for all the world.

The witch hysteria that grew in Salem derived from the Calvinistic belief that Satan acted on the Earth and Sometimes in the form of disease natural disasters or misfortune. Times of troubles indicated that Satan was at work. The Puritans also believed that Satan recruited witches and warlocks to aid him through witchcraft. So the witches hysteria grew about as people began to accuse each other of participating in witchcraft. Which was commonly against foreigners or enemies.
