         <title>John Jacob Astor</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>John Jacob Astor, or JJ Astor, was born on July 13, 1864 in Rhinebeck, New York. He was a financier, soldier, and inventor. Astor had built many hotels, which is where he made all of his money. His most famous, and greatest achievement, was the St. Regis hotel (John). In the spring of 1912, Mr. and Mrs. Astor were in Egypt and Paris and decided to come back to America. They were first class passengers on the Titanic.          <title>Henry Clay Frick</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Frick was born on December 19, 1849 in West Overton Pennsylvania. He was a United States industrialist, art collector, and philanthropist. Frick had helped build the world's largest coke and steel operations. He began building and operating coke ovens in 1870 and in 1871 he had organized Frick and Company.  Taking advantage of the difficult times following the financial panic of 1873, he acquired extensive coal deposits and supplied Pittsburgh with the coke required for its steel and iron industry (Henry).  <br><br>"Henry Clay Frick | American Industrialist And Philanthropist." <em>Encyclopedia Britannica</em>.          <title>Collis Potter Huntington</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Huntington was born in October 1821 in Hartwin Township, Connecticut. Huntington was one of the "Big Four" that helped the transcontinental railroad. He was a merchant and general businessman for several years, however in his forties he entered the railroad industry and became highly successful.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Drew was born in Carmel, New York, in 1797. He started his cattle industry very early in his life, he also had limited schooling. In 1866, Drew pledged $500,000 to found the Drew Theological Seminary. Though nearly half of this endowment was lost when Daniel Drew faced financial ruin in the 1870s, he continued as a trustee until his death in 1879 (Daniel). In 1834, Drew mounted a challenge against Cornelius Vanderbilt by entering the steamship business on the Hudson River.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Henry Bradley Plant was born on October 27, 1819 in Branford, Connecticut . He was&nbsp; involved with many transportation projects, mostly railroads , in the U.S. state of Florida. Eventually he owned the Plant System of railroads which became part of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. Plant City, located near Tampa, was named after him.
