Somehow, Amir believes he can win his father's love if he brings back the blue kite. He is right to an extent. Amir ignores Hassan because he is scared that Hassan knows that he saw what happened.</div>]]></description>

He dug a new hole with the trowel, skirting the dirt harder than he had to. 'He's right here with us , where he belongs. This is his home and we are his family. And, under the same roof, we spoke our first words" (Hosseini 11)<br><br>Chapters 7-14 <br>After getting raped Hassan goes through a hard time in his life where his is always sleeping and never comes out of the hut. "Lately, it seems all he wants to do is sleep. He does his chores- I see to that- but then he just wants to crawl under his blanket" (Hosseini 81)<br><br>Chapters 15-23<br>Hassan was a very hard working man. He was also very respectful. "Hassan tended to the flowers in the garden, soaked the roots, picked off yellowing leaves, and planted rose bushes" (Hosseini 208)<br><br>Chaoters 24-25<br>Hassan was a very brave individual.<br>"Your father was very brave and he was always rescuing me from trouble, standing up for me" (Hosseini 319)</div>]]></description>

He was very generous. <br>“Baba paid for the construction of the two-story orphanage, just off the strip of Jadeh Maywand south of the Kabul River, with his own money” (Hosseini 13)<br><br>Chapters 7-14<br><br>Baba is the type of man that if he says something he means it and you aren’t going to change his mind. “Baba refused.” They tried to get me into talking him into it. <br><br>Chapters 15-23<br><br>Baba also had guilt inside just like Amir. <br><br>" We both had betrayed the people who had given their lives for us” (Hosseini 226) </div>]]></description>
