This terms topic is 'Set Sail '. As part of this topic we will be talking about our transition, weather this be for our year six students who are moving on to secondary school or our transition to our next class.

We will be looking at floating and sinking in science as well as forces and magnets- with lots of hands on learning.

In maths We started off by looking at shapes and working on our personal learning targets.

Our role play are this week has been a coffee shop, getting us prepared for the adventures of the term.

We have a really successful swimming session with all students in the big pool and making good process.

In maths we continues to learn about shapes.

in literacy we have continued to learn about the snail and the Whale.

On Friday we said Good bye and Good luck to our AMAZING TA Hannah. We had party food, Cake and played party games.

In Literacy we changed the story of the snail and the whale. We thought about if the whale said no he did not want to take the snail on an adventure how he could of got there instead.

In the stories now he is going by water taxi, on a dolphin, a ride from a seagull and on some wood.

We had lots of fun coming up with ideas.

We made cakes and gingerbread me during sensory baking. We made father/ grandad cards during art ready for our fathers day picnic on Friday.
