At first you go to the doctors and they check your togue and they find out that your tongue is'nt heathey and they tell you the sypmtoms and what your tongue would look like when you have them. Dogs and cats can have the smyptomes if there tongue is not heathey.

Tongues are supposed to be pink, but if not thats a bad sign. If you have a red tongue that could mean you have a sore throat or a fever. Your tongue can also get swollen and become black and hairy. Doctor's can tell you if is healthy just by looking at it, they are supposed to be light pink. Dogs and cats are supposed to have light pink tongue. If you have white tongues patches it could be you have an infection, your dehydrated, do not brush your teeth, or you smoke.
