His tribe was the Ottawa and they joined with other tribes to attack the British. They killed 2,000 Brits. The British eventually beat the Indians. One of the ways they weakened the Natives was through blankets infected with smallpox.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After the war ended in 1763 the British claimed all of the land east of the Mississippi and Florida. The British had an exception in which they did not claim, which was New Orleans. With this occurring the British took control over the American Colonies. The Indians had to learn that the British where not as generous when it came to trading.          <description><![CDATA[<div>In September 1774 the Commitees of Correspondence organized a meeting in Philidelphia for many of the colonists. This was to discuss what their actions would be toward the British. Georgia was unable to make it. Everyone started to discuss, some colonists wanted rebellion, but the majority wanted to just comprise. They then sent a list of grievances to the king. The army and the Brisitsh did not get along and the fighting broke out everywhere.The people begged King George for peace, also know as the Olive Branch Petition.          <title>Boston Massacre</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Boston massacre occurred on March 5th, 1770 when a group of soldiers where attacked by a "patriot mob". They through sticks, stones, and snowballs at them and they just couldn't take it anymore. So the soliders decided to fight back. The soliders ended up killing a free black man, Cripus Attucks, and 5 others. The people of Boston started to protest, but it quickly turned into violence over there anger.All of this happening in Boston led to a campaign led by speech writers.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The Battle of Saratoga took place in September 1777. It was Horatio Gates vs.Johnny Burgoyne. Benedict Arnold and Daniel Morgan where helping Gates and won key battles for him against Burgoyne. They where the real heroes. Burgoyne finally surrendered on October 17 and 5,000 of his men where captured.
