Macbeth's attitude towards life in his tomorrow soliloquy is quite pessimistic. He compares life to "brief candle" which only serves purpose for a little amount of time. He also claims life is "but a walking shadow" meaning that no one takes much notice of people after they have passed. Overall, Macbeth is saying that life is meaningless.

It is also said that Macbeth’s servants do not serve him out of love but bu for fear. This is a reflection of Macbeth’s own fears as he loses his grip over Scotland as an influential ruler.
