    A passing score on each test is considered an 8 out of 20 (scaled score). The Writing Test is the only quirky test. You must score an 8 of 20 AND score at least a 2 of 6 on the essay portion as well in order to pass.

    Your combined score on ALL 5 tests must EQUAL 45 out of 100 total possible points for the state of Missouri in order to pass and receive your diploma!

    Therefore, you really need to think in terms of averaging at least a 9 out of 20 on every test (9 x 5=45!)
