         <title>Elias Howe </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Elias Howe was born on July 9th, 1819 in Spencer, Massachusetts. Howe's lived through the 1800's. Elias Howes and seven other men invented the sewing machine. Clothes were made by hand before Howes main invention. Howes had an interest in machines when he was young. Ari Davis inspired Howe, when he told a young inventor to invent a sewing machine.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Cyrus McCormick was born on February 15th, 1809 near Lexington, Virginia. Cyrus McCormick invented the mechanical reaper in 1831. His invention sped up the crop harvesting process. His invention was also very efficient and made it easier to cut grain. McCormick created his invention during the mineral-based economy.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Oliver Evans was born on September 13th, 1755 in Newport, DE. Evans was an American inventor who pioneered the high-pressure steam engine. He also created the first continuous production line in 1784.His inventions were problematic because the high speeds caused more accidents.  Evans was apprenticed to a wheelwright at the age of 16. Alexander Graham later on invented the telegraph. He always believed you could send voice over wires. He made a company called "Bell Telephone Company". His invention helped people communicate faster and helped businesses grow.
