Pros:
-engage students who are much more visual and/or tech savvy or into technology
- students who have OT issues or handwriting struggles are typing and using the keyboard and computer to express themselves instead of having to write things out by hand
-great for visual learners
-a wider access- can find so many sources from all over that are impossible or expensive to find in print

Cons:
-can not physically touch it or see it up close like looking at documents in a museum
- when you see things in print you can see all of it up close -when you see it digitally you can zoom in to certain areas but you are not seeing the whole thing at once as well.

Pros:
-easier to find primary sources digitally; more available
-can display large image in front of room; entire class can see & discuss at once
-technology generally increases student engagement; seems more novel
-source can be manipulated; magnified, examined closely
Cons:
-print is sometimes more tactile (esp. if it feels "old" to younger students)
-schools are set up to maintain print better than electronic files over many years
-some faculty & students even are reluctant technology users

Pros:
-gives students ability to use tech tools with sources (magnifying etc)
-can compile sources from multiple places into a set
-can use with projector for whole-class activity
-student engagement

Cons:
-reliant on technology working
-some primary sources are more powerful when they can be touched and manipulated
-students can take notes/write on copied print primary sources

Pros:
- access a wide variety of primary source sets on a topic
- access materials that are located in different libraries or collections internationally
- availability of transcribed primary source documents so handwriting and coloring is easier to read
- can manipulate and add to presentations and other online resources

Cons:
- Technology is not always reliable
- Students can't each have their own tablet or chromebook so they will have to share to access the same primary source
- Going to see physical primary sources in museums, etc. may help students contextualize the age of the sources
