I feel as most people that start small and run their business, they primarily cater to the individual. Although long hours are brutal, if someone is passionate about what they do, they never truly work a day in their life.

Clients come in to have their eyes tested, receive contacts (in which the optometrist profits from that. When they receive glasses, they visit retail side as that department will handle all insurance claims and sales. Both are likely to benefit.

Once their stock is issued, it can either climb or fall. I personally wouldnt start a corporation (assuming I had a business that was doing well enough to sell stock).
