Scotland is where Macbeth takes place. It is in the upper part of the UK and a country inside of the UK. It is home to the play Macbeth. Macbeth is even called the Scottish play. The play gets its name from the Scottish King, Macbeth, known as the red king. Even though the play was mostly preformed in England, mostly London, the setting of Scotland played a big part in the play. The entire play revolved around the Scottish King and his name was the title. The entire lay takes place in Scotland and has many connections to what happened in Scotland at the time. Even though it was originally preformed elsewhere. It stayed very true to the UK style of plays and writings, a tragedy. As always people die and the death only continues. But overall the setting of Scotland plays a giant role in the play Macbeth.
https://media1.shmoop.com/images/chart/macbeth-setting.png
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macbeth

Witchcraft is a broad term for the belief that a group of people can perform "magic" or do things that aren't comprehensible to the average person. Some types of witchcraft use spells, some potions, and others rituals. Typically in literature witches represent a struggle between good and evil, witches being the evil. The stereotype of witches being evil stems from the Old Testament of The Bible which condemns witch craft. The term is broad though, because there are many religious practices that can be categorized as witchcraft. Despite the negative conceptions of witches there are still groups of modern people who practice witchcraft, spells, and unconventional healing methods. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witchcraft

It has been recorded in history for ages. It is sometimes looked down upon and seen as the devils work. This led to many witch trials and witch hunts. Mostly women were accused of witchcraft. When witchcraft is viewed many think of spell casting, necromancy, and demonology. It can be seen very different as some witchcraft was medicinal. Everyone has a different view and some people just pull out a bible if they hear “witchcraft.” It’s a diverse topic many people should read about.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witchcraft

Regicide
The meaning of regicide is the killing of a royalty. An example of this is the regicide of Mary, the queen of scots. It happened before the Tudor period, English kings had been murdered before when they were imprisoned or at battle such as Edward II and Edward v,but they've never really called that regicide. Back to the regicide of Mary, after the reign of Mary I, the Pope Pius V excommunicated Elizabeth I for converting England to protestant. So as a result of Mary I reigning Elizabeth I executed her. On the regular people would say this was just a execution or a murder but since Mary I was a catholic and ruled it is named as a regicide.

Witchcraft is a practice or belief of magical skills. It was used/believed in back in the olden days. Widowed women were the main people accused of practicing witchcraft. If someone was accused of witchcraft they would be burned at the stake. This belief has been around for a very long time, so it has some interesting things involving it. Like what happened with the Salem witch trials. Which was when 200 people were accused of practicing witchcraft (or the devils magic) and 20 people were executed. Witchcraft has been looked down apon for centuries because people think witchcraft is dealing with the devil.

The Globe Theater was a very big building where Shakespeare produced plays for thousands of people it had three floors. Even though it was this big it wasn't big enough to fit everyone that wanted to come. Shakespeare had a lot of success with this theater as well as The Lord Chamberlains Men. It was home to many plays like Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth and more. The Globe Theater was the most successful theater to ever have been since the 1500's.
www.wikipedia.com

Macbeth was one of the many plays written by William Shakespeare. This particular play was a tragedy, where it greatly reflects the relationship between the play writer and their sovereign. This play was thought to be first performed in 1606. It was published in Folio of 1623, from a possible prompt book, and known as one of Shakespeare's shortest tragedies. Macbeth is about a Scottish general named Macbeth. The receives a prophecy from a trio of witches, saying he would one day become king of Scotland. He was consumed by ambition and motivation by his wife, he kills the king of Scotland and takes the throne for himself. Macbeth was then tormented with guilt and paranoia. After this he was forced to commit series of murders, to protect himself from acrimony and suspicion, he then soon becomes a tyrannical ruler. This bloodbath and consequential civil war quickly takes Macbeth and lady Macbeth into realms of madness and death. In the world of theater people believe that this play is cursed and will not mention the name of this play, but will refer to it as "The Scottish Play".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macbeth

Witchcraft is defined as the practice of sorcery/magic anywhere in the world. It refers to the activity of witches, who are said to use supernatural powers, in the form of magic, to change people's minds on other people or events. Because of this association with magic, the term sorcery has long been synonymous with witchcraft in the English-speaking world. When people thought of witches things like hearsay, black magic, and devil worshiping came to mind. Because of the association of witches to scary evil things, tons of witches were hunted down and killed around the time of the 16th and 17th century.

https://kids.britannica.com/scholars/article/witchcraft/108515/media

The Globe Theater is located in London, England. It was built in 1599 by Shakespeare's playing company. The first production played in the Globe was most likely Henry V or Julius Caesar. It was 3 story's high and was able to hold up to 3,000 people. The original Globe Theater burned down in 1613 due to a cannon fire on stage during a performance. They replaced that one with a modern day one later on. Nobody knew exactly where the old one was placed until 1989 when the foundations were discovered in a car park. This was a very famous attraction that long ago and still today to keep Shakespeare's poetic legacy going. You can take tours on the theater today and enjoy it like you would have in 1599. https://www.britannica.com/topic/Globe-Theatre

Witchcraft is defined in Merriam Webster's Dictionary as the practice of magic, especially black magic; the use of spells. Witchcraft has been present since as early as 1000 AD. It was known as an anti - christian religion. Going against the wishes of God, this was known as an evil and disgusting act to get closer to the devil and worship him. It was even known that witches would cast spells to fly. spy on others, kill, and more! Worshipers of witchcraft would be severely punished. People who were believed to have been followers would be burned, others pleading their innocence would be thrown in the water to see if they were a witch or not, or stoned to death. The latest big case of witchcraft was centuries ago. In 1692, 150 people were tried for witchcraft in Salem in attempt to campaign against this.

Witchcraft is defined as the practice of sorcery/magic anywhere in the world. The term witchcraft refers to the activity of witches, who are said to use supernatural powers, in the form of magic, to change people's minds on other people or events. Because of this association with magic, the term sorcery has been put with witchcraft for an extremely long time.
