Jenelle and I observed Mr. Branch's first period class. I took extensive notes (attached) of Mr. Branch's first period class. Jenelle taught Mr. Branch's second period while he attended a mandatory meeting. I took extensive notes (attached in purple) while observing Jenelle teach as well. We deduced that Mr. Branch needs to pay particular attention to the pedagogy contained within the Master Course lessons. He is using the content within the Master Course lessons with fidelity but not the pedagogy. We presented various Discovery Education resources including SOS Strategies and Board Builder that can be used to support the Master Course lessons. We then met with Mrs. Charles and Mr. Soto in regards to using SOS Strategies in their classrooms. I spoke with Mrs. Charles about the writing prompt builder and our digital streaming media and gave her a quick tour of searching for digital media.
