Non operating revenues- they are earned from side activities such as interest revenue, rent revenue. Except where the business' main industry which is renting industry.<br>3. Interest- It is used to record the interest earned by the business.<br>4. Rent- It is revenue from the buildings or equipment of the business on rent.<br>5. Dividend- It's used to record the dividend earned on the stock of other companies which is owned by the&nbsp; business.<br><br><strong>Capital Income<br></strong>1. Natural- it is any stock or flow of energy and material that produces good and services. it includes: Resources- renewable and nonrenewable materials, Sinks - absorb,&nbsp; neutralise or recycle and wastes Processes- climate regulation.&nbsp;<br>2. Human- it includes people's health, knowledge, skills and motivation. They are all needed for productive work. Enhancing human capital through education and training is the central to a flourishing economy.<br>3. Social- it concerns the institutions that help maintain and develop human capital in partnership with others. For example, families, communities, businesses, trade unions, schools and voluntary organisations.&nbsp;<br>4. Manufactured- it comprises material goods or fixed assets which contribute to the production process rather than being the output, eg shares,bonds or banknotes.<br>5. Financial-&nbsp; it has no real value but it is representative of the other capitals: natural, human, social or manufactured. They are facing a sustainability crisis due to consuming the stocks quicker than they are producing them. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Revenue Income - generated from sales of goods/services</strong><br><br>2 types of revenue income- <br><strong>Operating revenues</strong>- originates from main business. for example sales<br><strong>non operating revenues</strong> - earned from any side activity eg rent revenue or interest revenue. <br><br><strong>rent</strong> -  this is revenue from the rent from buildings or equipment of the business<br><strong>interest</strong>-  this is used to record any interest earned by the business. for example any debts owed to the business. interest can be earned off that. <br><strong>dividend</strong>-  if business holds any stock in another business that pays dividend. this is dividend revenue. <br><strong>royalties </strong>- revenue earned with someone else eg an individual or other business making money off something you have produced. <br><strong>money received from the sales of goods/services -</strong> this can be in the from of cash or credit<br><br><strong>Capital Income - income made from sales of non current assets. <br><br>Owners Investments - </strong>capital invested into the business by the owner. important because sufficient capital is needed to operate a business and reach profitability.<br><strong>Retained Profits-</strong>  also known as operating income, this is any earnings before interest and taxes.<br><strong>Selling of stock</strong> -  a fast way for businesses to increase capital. not ideal for most start up businesses. <br>S<strong>elling of fixed assets </strong>- mostly ideal for older firms. a firm can sell its oldest assets that have been replaced or no longer needed by the firm. <br><strong>debt collection</strong>-  keeping up to date with any unpaid bills owed to the business will make sure capital is maintained/increased.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Accrual basis accounting counts the revenue as soon as an invoice is entered into the accounting system. Cash basis accounting does not count the revenue until the invoice is paid.Income accounts are temporary or nominal accounts because their balance is reset to zero at the beginner of each new accounting period, usually a fiscal year. Most accounting programs perform this task automatically.</div><div><br><br>Rent - rent income is typically considered non-operating revenue.<br>Interest - Debt owned is a good example. The&nbsp; business can earn revenue from other individuals or businesses that owe money/payments to the business, the interest on the debt is added to the figure and paid as an extra amount on each installment paid by the debtors.</div><div><br></div><div>Dividends - Another type of revenue is dividend revenue. If your business holds stock in another business that pays a dividend, that would be considered non-operating. The business receives extra income from this and mutual fund dividends are paid out of<strong> </strong>income, usually on a quarterly basis, from interest generated by a fund's investments. Also known as a dividend distribution.</div><div><br></div><div>Rent - Unless you're in the business of renting property , rent income is typically considered non-operating revenue. This is the revenue the business gains from the hire of equipment and the rent of a property or premises.</div><div><br></div><div>Royalty Revenue - A royalty payment is made to the legal owner of the property, patent, copyrighted work or franchise by those who wish to make use of it for the purposes of generating<strong> </strong>revenue or other such desirable activities. Royalties are typically agreed upon as a percentage of gross or net revenues derived from the use of an asset or a fixed price per unit sold of an item.</div><div><br></div><div>Sales Revenue - For most companies, sales is the largest source of revenue. Sales, sometimes referred to as gross sales. This represents the amount of money a company has earned over the past quarter selling products and services.&nbsp;</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
