It's easy to throw a question on a pad, let the entire class answer for a starter question, and then spend a few minutes discussing what the students thought about it. 

I have also used it like a virtual art show. It could benefit them in the students career to know how to use these technologies. In my high school we had gotten a brand new Fine Arts theatre, and with that came all of the fancy lights and technology to run them.
