I used gold and sliver water color on top of the base coat for the cup. I picked this landscape because I liked the top of the structure and it came out fine on the painting I suppose.

The social issue was gay rights. My favorite part of this painting was the bricks and the signs. I think I picked something that was really hard (the MOSS AND FLOWERS) and that's why I hated this one. I made the color for the ground myself I mixed red and brown with the least little touch of black and BAM! I'm still not a fan of oil paints because it's hard to paint when it never is dry but it was easy to blend the bells of my shrooms.
