    I can incorporate this art medium into a lesson plan by having kids make a ceramic plate or even interpreting their own feelings the object. EX: making one for their parents.  I also really appreciated how he made some very detailed work into what he went through on his hard times.​

    I chose this art piece because I thought it was very interesting and would be a good hook to get children’s attention to start a lesson plan. This could be done at the beginning of the school year as a “Get to Know You” project.
    Students could create their own collection of things as a model on cardboard (it wouldn’t have to be this big obviously) and they would put things that they really enjoy on it and make it in their own way and can talk about it.

The coolest part was that the tutu was actual material while the rest of the statue was made of bronze. I thought the mix of mediums was way cool. I think a great way to incorporate this into a lesson would be for the students to write a story about who they think this girl is, what she might be thinking. or anything that tells a story about the piece.
