         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Black Shirts were the devoted followers of Mussolini, the shirts they wore were somewhat of an unofficial uniform for them. They were worn by mostly military fascists that followed Mussolini and showed a sense of uniformity. And so, as they marched they began to amass a larger following under Mussolini's control. The largest march of the Black Shirts was the March on Rome, which marked the beginning of absolute fascist power</div>]]></description>

Anything that did not support the rise of fascism or Mussolini's actions was not allowed to be released. This allowed for the government to hold information from the public, keeping their actions secret.</div>]]></description>

For example, teachers were forced to obtain these cards and then teach their students material that conformed with the fascist's beliefs.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Once Mussolini was able to gain the position of the dictator of Italy, he created a cabinet of men made up of wealth business men. These "scoundrels" helped Mussolini gain more power while also at the same time allowed their businesses to grow at the cost of the people. These men grew wealthier as Mussolini was able to play it off that he was helping Italy by bringing them into his circle.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mussolini was able to improve the war torn economy of Italy. He started with large public works projects that created more living space in Italy which had never been used before. He also was able to restore the railroad system to its pre war ability. Telephone lines were also put up around Italy which connected it more. </div>]]></description>
