I have understanding of black masculinity because my family. On my moms side of my family my grandfather and uncle are my representation of the challenges their are being black in America, the way to hold yourself and act, and the heritage of my family.

In my opinion this song does a good job at captivating the principle of black masculinity wanting to be free and not allowing anything to hold them down. This song goes with the movie "Sinners" and talks about wanting everyone to be free and not being scared of anything or anyone trying to hold them back.
