I found this talk interesting because I've always been fond of travelling. But always assumed that the only limiting factor is money. Tomislav showed me how he travelled the world with 0 money and  still had a fruitful journey. He got to meet new friends, discover new locations and more importantly, enriched his life. He had experiences that even money can't buy. I've always thought of travelling as a leisure and recreational activity. But now I know that its much more than that; its a Journey, A lesson, An experience. He ended off with a really great quote: " In 20 years time, you will be disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did do."

This TED talk is probably my favourite ever because of how relatable it is to my life and just me in general. He was able to encapsulate in a very simple yet practical way. I found this talk to be particularly interesting as Andrew Soloman address different "illnesses" and showcases how his impression of all of them changed. His main point was about how parents "love, no matter what" and will do anything for their children, despite their mental or physical disabilities. It basically taught me that a parent's love for their child is one that is indescribable and one will not understand unless they have a child of their own.

The reason that compelled me to click this video was the beautiful artwork in the video's thumbnail. Thus, the main reason why I found this talk to be interesting was how genuine the artist was in portraying how climate change affects beautiful islands such as Maldives in her pastel drawings. What first captured my attention about the video was the title. Viewers would initially think this is ironic considering that Russell's profession is entirely centric on her attractiveness and good looks. However, Russell's speech completely changes this when she has an outfit change in front of the audience, underlining the fact that looks count on how people perceive us. It relates to many people who are looking down on themselves. I also find that the way she engages her audience and her speech is very well done. Also her talk is not just only talking but she includes humour and it also brings a connection between her and the audience. This talk then becomes very intriguing and a topic where many can understand and relate to her pitch.

Through this video, Dass is able to show that "our racially­ charged skin color labels --­­ red, white, brown --­­ is not only inaccurate but also absurd. Instead, she shows us that "these colors make us see each other as different, even though we are equal."
