I don’t have a specific plan. I change it depending on the exam. It could be a kahoot, quizzes, direct questioning. It could be written tasks. Whatever I do is duplicated at the time of delivery and then in the revision session

I did a starter session today which was based on interleaving subjects which encapsulated all of the topics for the exams which the learners still had to revise for

Some of them had 4 exams booked and so interleaving from one to the next in my microsoft forms quiz, where they could personally assess themselves was extremely beneficial

I was able to bring up the results of each learner after they'd completed the quick revision quiz and could then concentrate on any areas of misunderstanding and structure my class around this

I go through the range on manage assess, then I write it on a white board. Then we mind map together and label the points I have written from manage assess.

I set up word wall in the room on the electronic board and then have revision stations. Groups per time using the board, then a diagram, then an old test.

I share links to quizziz tests, if you write in the unit code there are normally some pre-made to their teams

I share links to word wall also some unit code pre made. Truck is typing word wall you need into Google not into the search.

I send diagrams of the necessary anatomy and ask to label.

I ask them to draw colour label and define anatomy. MAKE IT CREATIVE!

Not planned a revision session before but if I were;

I would identify the areas of weaknesses,

Use this data as a guide for the lesson .

I’ll make the revision very interactive and the weakest point will be repetitive & use retrieval queues.

Skin contra-indications is a big one in beauty. I will be making sure I can spread this over time as they all interlink.

We incorporate interleaving with skin, health and safety and client care in every unit. We also interleave in practical sessions where we use revision to link with the exam
