Creativity is inside all of us and all around us. The more we identify this, the more we can appreciate and nurture the innate creativity inside ourselves.

Like knowledge, creativity is dynamic and ‘interpretive’; a culmination of everyone’s unique life perspectives and understandings. Their personal revelations resulting from cognitive, sensory, and emotional experiences, social interactions, and sociocultural influences. 

Mountain Lake (1938) demonstrates Dalí’s use of multiple images and optical illusions. It shows his unique perspective and ability to capture different ideas simultaneously by integrating the fish into the lake.

Making and Responding are intrinsically connected. Together they provide students with knowledge, understanding and skills as artists, performers and audience, and develop students’ skills in critical and creative thinking. 

Circles are important because there is no beginning or end and therefore no completions but continuous cycles. Standing in a circle allows everyone to see each other as they stand shoulder to shoulder. In other words, circles are formations where power relations are structured differently to ensure agency of each member is a necessary part of the function.
