Bullying ultimately is linked to many outcomes that are negative. Bullying impacts children's mental health, and can lead to drastic measure such as suicide within youth. This behavior is repeated over and over again and bullying not only effects the person who is bullied, but effects the bully themselves longterm. 
In order for something to be considered bullying by definition it must be aggressive and include the following things.
An imbalance of Power: Kids who bully use their power whether that is physical strength, access to embarrassing information that can be used to humiliate someone they bully, or popularity to control or harm someone else

Physical Bullying- Involve's hurting someone's body or possessions
Hitting/kicking/pinching
Spitting on somebody
Tripping/pushing someone over

It happens in places like on the playground or the bus. It can also happen on the internet which is the most common form of bullying in modern day society. These issues might be long lasting even into the child's adulthood. 
Health complaints is another effect of bullying that the child who was bullied experiences. Another effect is a decreased academic achievement in both their GPA and standardized test scores, and their overall school participation. Engage in sexual activity at a young age
Have criminal convictions and traffic citations as adults
Be abusive toward their romantic partners, spouses, or children as adults.

The bystanders of the bullying also are effected by it. Kids who witness bullying are more likely to:
Have increased use of tobacco, alcohol, or other drugs
Have increased mental health problems, including depression and anxiety

It is the form of bullying that takes place over electronic devices such as phones and computers. Cyberbullying also can occur during online video games where you play in the same game as other people. It includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing someone's personal or private information about someone else causing for them to be embarrassed or humiliated. There are instance's where cyberbullying can cross the line and become unlawful or criminal behavior. Although kids who are bullied are definitely at risk for suicide other issues contribute way more such as depression, problems at home and trauma history. Come from families where there is bullying
May have parents who do not provide emotional support or communication
May come from a household where the adults are extremely leniant.
