Designspiration Album: I like how the cropped circle is a close-up of the wave while the outer image is the full wave. This cover has nice muted colors and simple central typography that uses leading lines from the wave's crest.

Recording Artist of my choice: We have listened to this album a lot in VisCom this year. I like how the image has a lot of lines and movement with the use of vibrant colors. I can see trying to crop (using layer masks) and, cut up multiple 7-object photos and rotating them to look like this. The all-black background is a great element with the typography simply placed at the top in two different font choices; one bold sans-serif and one serif.

I really like the colors of the background. The pinks and yellows compliment each other very nicely and the reflections of light is very intriguing to me. I also like the simplicity of the typography. The text size indicates the importance of each body of text really well, whilst keeping large enough to read.

I like how the creator uses white box as a frame-in-a-frame but also has the leaves overlapping the box to give it depth. i also like the vibrant colors, they draw my attention to the piece. i got this from disignspiration

Designspiration Album: I like how this art is cropped to have a custom boader. This cover to me looks fun and jazzy. The centralized sketches of people dancing catches the eye. I like the the black and white theme as colors would be too chaotic to view.

I chose this album cover for a few reasons. To start, I really like the softness of the colors and how the yellow text fits in yet still stands out fro the image. I also like the blurred effect on his portrait, I think it added more focus to what's around him and direct the viewers eyes to the background. Finally, I really love the sketches and typography that is mixed in with the sky. Even though it's not seen at first due to the light opacity, I think it adds just that extra touch to the whole piece.

Recording artist of my choice: ive seen this album cover a lot and I like how its kind of what we've been doing recently. the central typography of this cover is very nice but simple. The font used is also kindof matches the music they play. And the matching border color just makes the album pop.

what made me choose this is the simplicity of the image its not exactly black and white it has a brown tint to it. And the typography just fits the image so well.
