Mr. Peters saves a swan who turns out to be the Forest King. Mr. Peters is rewarded with three wishes. He decides to use his first wish to get a wife. His wife magically appears and they are wed, and seem to be very content. Mr. Peters realizes that his wife used to be a swan, and although she loves him very much, she will never be truly happy as a human because she is supposed to be a swan, and misses her sister. Mr.Peters decides to use his second wish to turn Leita (his wife) back into a swan so she can be who she is meant to be. He lives out the rest of his life with the swans (his wife and wifes sister), and dies peacefully in his sleep, knowing he was wise and never used his third wish.
-"Mr. Peters was found peacefully dead..."
