I have many students this year who benefit more from hands-on learning  and staying active in the classroom. It is amazing how their behavior changes when they are engaged!

The students would be so excited, and thus, motivated to be able to have a completed "portfolio" to take home at the end of the year. I've realized, a great deal of motivation is how you "talk it up".
