Once the settlers landed in cape cod, they thought life without laws would be dangerous so they wrote the mayflower compact. They wanted to ensure life was safe and structured. It was written in 1620, November 11th, It basically says Everyone shall have equal and just rights and laws.

WHY did they make this in the first place?
