What I learned on spreadsheets were the different formulas to add up or multiply the value of the different cells. Like buying lunch every day or breakfast can add up really fast so keeping track of what you buy can save a lot of money. It can also help because if you for say want to buy a new phone do your research and budgeting before going to the store so you know what to look for. Doing this for house options also helps because you can look at how much a certain house is and is it worth the money. Spending habits can also be a problem if you don't lay out your information, and if your on a budget you can add everything up in a form.
