This sugar is not only bad for your teeth but your body turns it into fat shortly after you’ve consumed it.Eating fast food regularly has the same impact on the liver as hepatitis. French fries, fried chicken, and onion rings are particularly harmfull.Pizza Hut uses 300 million of cheese every year that is very unhealthy!Headache, depreesion is caused by junk food.

BY Asher, Danyal and Samdani

In Pakistan, malnutrition is widespread among all ages, and progress to address social determinants over the last several decades had been very slow. According to the National Nutrition Survey 2011, one-third of all children are underweight, nearly 44 pc are stunted, 15 pc are wasted, half of them are anemic and almost one-third of these children have iron deficiency anemia. These rates have hardly changed over two decades according to the findings of a maternal and child nutrition study group published by Lancet in 2013. Notable differences can be found between the nutritional indicators of urban and rural populations; children among the rural and urban poor are at greatest risk. Among women, 14 pc in the reproductive age bracket are thin or wasted (with a body mass index less than 18.5 kg/m 2) and this prevalence is highest among households that are food insecure. These differences in maternal and child malnutrition are also remarkable among various provinces and sub-regions, and clustered in areas widely recognised as high-risk districts.

TREATMENT FOR MALNUTRITION:

The diet planner and advisor discuss the diet with the patient and makes recommendations and diet plans to improve nutrient intake.

In most patients with malnutrition the intake of protein, carbohydrates, water, minerals and vitamins need to be gradually increased.

Supplements of vitamins and minerals are often advised.

Those with protein energy malnutrition may need to take protein bars or supplements for correction of the deficiency.

The Body Mass Index is regularly monitored to check for improvement or responsiveness to dietary interventions.

In addition, 40 percent of children are underweight, and 9 percent are wasting.
Each year, 396,000 infants die in Pakistan. Those that survive commonly suffer from deficiencies in iodine, vitamin A, iron, folic acid and zinc.
There are many causes for these deficiencies and the resulting malnutrition.
Around 37.5 million people in Pakistan are not receiving proper nourishment.
Malnutrition in Pakistan is usually associated with poverty and the main causative factors include low consumption of food and foods with low nutritional value.
The only way to erase Malnutrition from Pakistan is to not waste food but use them in a much decisive manner so that the poor get sufficient amount of food.
THANK YOU!
