Once most students have acquired and can demonstrate one set of success criteria, I add a new dimension of complexity to the commentary and to the peer dialogue portions for the following week.
This helps students by showing them how to recognize that high-quality writing is a collection of effective writing craft moves that can be identified and emulated to improve personal writing craft.
