With world-class instructors in their respective fields like instructors like Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Christina Aguilera, Anna Wintour, Steph Curry, and Misty Copeland, I knew this would be a great opportunity to gain expertise that I would not necessarily receive in the typical classroom setting. Along with following these instructional series, I put my skills to the test and created some sort of tangible evidence as proof of what I learned. For each class I took, I created an individual mini-project as a reflection piece. I consider this project curious learners like myself who are fascinated by a variety of different interests and careers. I then created my own tv show pitch and delivered it to my family. I was about a 10-minute speech where I laid out the entirety of the first season of my potential show. Without going into too much detail, my idea was a show called 'Monica'. It is about triplets who operate a shady pawnshop in downtown Miami while do illegal work behind the scenes. This action-packed and cynical, yet heartbreaking series is a drama meets thriller.
