Two days ago, you were going about your business, living your life without fear of terrorism. Oh, what a difference a day makes. Yesterday, four planes were deliberately crashed in an attack designed to weaken the United States and put you in a state of fear: two into the World Trade Center in New York City, one at the Pentagon outside of Washington DC, and one in Pennsylvania. All were hijacked by terrorists with one purpose.  To destroy what you hold most dear: your freedom and safety. More than 3,000 of your fellow citizens were killed and around 6,000 were injured. First responders risked their lives attempting to rescue people trapped in the towers and in the Pentagon. Many of them died as a result. As of this publication, Al-Queda leader Osama bin Laden has taken responsibility for the attacks.  

President Bush, in his statement yesterday evening, has vowed 

"Freedom itself was attached this morning by a faceless coward and freedom will be defended... Make no mistake: The United States will hunt down and punish those responsible for these cowardly acts...  We will find those who did it. We will smoke them out of their holes... We'll get them running, and we'll bring them to justice...  We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail."

In this reporters opinion, any person siding with these terrorists had better run. They are not safe here, because we are coming for them. This is our defense of our America, of you, of our neighbors, our freedom and our way of life.
