Another is spending time with my parent, whether it be driving somewhere with them or just watching TV, because sometimes that is when I learn something completely new about them, a story I haven't heard before or their side to an event we experience together.

But now as a University student my favourite subject is Advertising for actually, quite a similar reason. I like being able to analyse a group/ target audience and come to a conclusion on what a groups want, needs or desires may be.

Another is "To be honest with myself and with others".

What does a marketing assistant do?

• Gathering, cleaning, and sorting data through methods like surveys or website analysis 

• Reviews marketing campaign results (like revenue increase, reach, or engagement) to improve campaigns

• Use tools to understand current customers and find new ones

• Researches competitors (Coursera Staff, 2024)

So my next step would be to deepen my understanding of Marketing Principles and the analytical tools needed in the new position.

Identify a specific area of marketing analytics that interests me e.g. customer insights, and deepen my expertise in that area

• Professional Associations: Join professional marketing and analytics associations to network with peers and access exclusive resources and events.

• Continuous Education: Regularly take courses and attend conferences to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.
