         <title>Turbo Roast Chicken</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Put some garlic (and lemongrass if you like) inside the cavity of the chicken.<br><br>After rubbing the chicken with salt and pepper, place it in the turbo broiler.&nbsp; Add a bar of butter which you can cut up and spread around the chicken.&nbsp; Add 4 chicken bouillons.&nbsp; Add 4 pcs of lemons sliced in half or thirds. &nbsp;<br><br>Turn on the turbo broiler!<br>If you see the lemons browning, you can remove it from the turbo to avoid it burning and adding a bitter taste to the gravy after. &nbsp;<br><br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Japanese Kakiage Tempura</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><sup>Thinly cut vegetables of choice. Place the cut vegetables in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, and cold water. Season it with salt and pepper.<br>Add and mix the flour mixture into the vegetables. <br>Heat oil in a frying pan. Scoop vegetable mixture and slide it gently to the oil. Deep fry until golden brown.<br><br></sup><strong><sup>Tempura Sauce:<br></sup></strong><sup><br>Mix dashi powder, hot water, and sugar. Let it boil. <br>Remove from fire. Add&nbsp; soy sauce and mirin. Mix thoroughly. Enjoy!!!</sup><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Udon Soup</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When my&nbsp; daughters were sick with COVID, I prepared a lot of soup for them and tried to avoid meat and dairy to minimize any mucus build up.&nbsp; Japanese food and this soup in particular was a hit and easy to make!<br><br>You need:<br>1 packet udon noodles<br>2 cups boiling water<br>2 tsp dashi powder<br>2 tsp mirin<br>2-3 tsp soy sauce, adjust to taste<br>pinch of salt<br>pinch of sugar<br><br>Toppings can be:<br>spring onion, finely sliced diagonally<br>bonito flakes<br>fish cakes<br><br>Cook udon noodles according to the packet instructions.&nbsp; Keep it chewy and not too soggy.<br><br>In a separate pot, mix the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. &nbsp;<br><br>Portion and you may top with spring onions and bonito flakes. &nbsp;<br>(My youngest prefers is completely plain).</div>]]></description>

         <title>Seared Sesame Ahi Tuna Steak</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>What you will need:<br><br>Japanese Sesame dressing (for the marinade)<br>Ahi Tuna steaks<br>Olive oil<br>Butter<br><br>What you will do:<br><br>1. Marinate the Ahi tuna steaks in a generous amount of Japanese sesame dressing when fully thawed. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate until cooking time.<br>2. Heat your cast iron pan under medium heat.&nbsp; Put a small amount of butter and some olive oil in it.<br>3. When hot enough, put one tuna steak in and sear for about 1 to 1.5 minutes on each side and remove from the pan.<br>4. Using a very sharp knife, slice really thin pieces and place them on a plate.<br>5. Repeat if you have&nbsp;more than one tuna steak.<br>6. You can serve with additional Japanese sesame dressing.<br><br>Bon appetit!</div>]]></description>
