We had a memorial in San Clemente, California, one of my favorite spots in California. It reminds me of all the family and friends that I still have and I hope to learn it on the guitar someday. I want my concept to incorporate my memory of my Papa. I wont be able to take a photo of him, and I have many photos of him that I could possibly use to photoshop if that follows the guidelines. I won’t be able to travel to San Clemente to capture a photo. In the very least I can capture the serenity and the sort of peacefulness that comes with the album. I like this artist for the music that he produced, rather than the person that he’s shown to be. There’s a lot of personal confusion of this artist within his lyrics and figuring out who he is through rap and has made top charts with his songs. The song that speaks to me the most is “Hope” which is dedicated to those who lost their lives in the Parkland, Florida shooting. I feel I missed my best opportunity for my ideas since the March For Our Lives has already passed.
