I chose to use onshore wind turbines because if there were to be a large amount of marine traffic, offshore turbines would not be appropriate or environmentally-friendly.

Windmills are able to produce a large amount of energy. On average, each onshore wind turbine can produce more than 6 million kWh in a year (with a capacity of 2.5-3 MS). ICC 
It is the tallest building in Hong Kong. If we place solar panels at the highest point (roof or sides), it will maximise energy created as it will have the most contact with the sun. Moreover, it will not disrupt anything unlike Wind turbines that are big and can block pathways.
