2 bins. One for dirty one for clean
water
dish soap
old toothbrush/scrubber/sponge/wash rag
towel for any water that might spill

feel free to take this activity outside because it can get messy!

You can fill one bin with dirt and water to get the toys muddy so your child can wash them up in the other bin of clean soapy water! Have fun!

Materials needed:
  • Plastic container
  • Jello packet (you can use a flavored drink mix, or even just food coloring)
  • Dish soap
  • Water
  • Straw
*you will only need to use about a tablespoon of the jello mix. You can save the rest for future sensory activities or to try this activity again and again!

Typically after we do these tasks in the morning we will be working on different tasks such as name folders, cutting paper, tracing shapes/numbers/ letters but since everyone doesn't have those supplies yet we will wait to start that until Monday. Please use any extra time during this section to gather supplies needed for the sensory portion of the day. Today you will need 2 bins, some plastic toys that you wouldn't mind your child getting dirty or wet, an old toothbrush, dish soap, water and a towel.
