I think we had to experience it to be able to answer this, i can see how working in groups all the way through would make for a better experience

I found it very poor - lots of reading in text that was too small and I just skipped much of the content to have a go at the question. Unlike typical escape rooms, it wasn't a 'fun' experience

It definitely improved my engagement within the session. I think there could be a risk of it becoming another elearning module if not developed to its optimal use.

Better data will give us better understanding of the learners experiences, and will allow us to make adjustments to the way the sessions are facilitated

It wasn't an appropriate modality for a synchronous session - it's more something that learners would do in their own time - it was very much like e-learning. When people have made time to come to a 90 minute synchronous session we should make use of that opportunity to learn and be interactive as a group/small groups

It provides a more unique, interactive learning experience and when well utilised in can be both educational and fun. But the technology used does need testing & review to ensure it's working to it's full capability as a learning tool.

Less content - words were tiny and there was too much to read and internalise in a few mins. Being in the escape room together and each reading one part of the content then reporting back at the end ie divide and conquer approach
