Through this reading I can know that Jesus does not just belong to the Jews, but also to the Gentiles; those who are foreigners but want to know, love, and serve him. This message applies to everyone. Those who are close to Jesus, and those who are not. The reading states, "For there is no distinction; all have sinned and are deprived form the glory of God. They are justified freely from his grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus." This means we are all sinners and we all need the Grace of Jesus to help us; no matter who we are.

What I learned from reading Romans 3: 21-30 is that God, (or your equivalent of your God depending on your religious beliefs) belongs to all of us, and each of us have a right to worship him. (based off of Romans 3: 29) I also learned that it is not our place to judge whether someone is holy or unholy, but it is God's position to judge us. Our job is to be the best person we can be, and incorporate God into our lives in one way or another. (I also wanted to add that it states that Jesus died for our sins, meaning that Jesus died for all of us to forgive us and not just forgive a certain number or group of people.)

After reading Psalms 130 1-6, I think it means that when we sin, we should go to God in prayer and ask for forgiveness. Since Jesus died for all of our sins, so that we may have a chance to be forgiven, we can always ask God for another chance. As long as we are truly repentant and sincere in our prayers, God is ready to forgive us. For example, in verse two David said " When I was not humble in thought, then I lifted up my soul." meaning that when he sinned, he lifted up his soul to God in prayer.

I think it is trying to say that the people who killed God's prophets will be forgiven and will be given second chances to change their ways when he sends more prophets. God wants them to change what they are doing so they can meet him and understand what the Catholic faith means. I think the people who hurt the Catholics are also going to be given multiple chances to change and hopefully they will become a catholic too.

I think this reading speaks about God holding sinners accountable. He seems upset that these people sinned and committed these deeds. He is saying that they will be charged with their blood.

After reading this passage, what I think it is saying is that the very people that we may look up to, or think are good examples, are sometimes the people who are behind our problems. When you really think about it, some of the problems we have in our world are caused by division in religions (like the many wars we've had throughout our history). It also says that God knew that the prophets would end up being persecuted and hated because of their beliefs. What I get from this is that even though there is so much conflict and hate in the world, we should keep spreading what we believe and stand by it.

What I understand is that the prophets are getting killed for their faith. Also that people will pay for their actions. Also that the scholars stopped people that were trying to enter into God's faith.
