         <description><![CDATA[<div>Xanax is a depressant that will slow your heart rate down and creates a synthetic calmness by increasing the capacity of your GABA receptors in your nervous system. The overall effect is being very calm and almost numb to your surroundings. Although this does not sound desirable to most of us, those who suffer from severe panic attacks this ability to calm down even if it results in a numb state. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Like many depressants, alone, it is very unlikely to overdose from only Xanax. Overdose's mostly occur when Xanax is mixed with other intoxicants such as, alcohol, marijuana, and other prescription drugs. Another danger to keep in mind if ingesting Xanax, is if you buy it on the streets (where it is known as, "bars" "xans" and "Green Hulk") it can be laced with a synthetic heroin called fentanyl to increase the chance of addiction to give the drug dealers a chance for a more profitable client.<br>Low-level symptoms <br>Amnesia <br>Dry mouth<br>High-level symptoms <br>Hallucinations<br>(see overdose symptoms)  <br>Overdose Symptoms<br>Coma or death (if combined with other intoxicants) <br>Fainting<br>Low blood pressure<br>Shallow breathing<br>Impaired motor skills<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>An interesting fact about Xanax is that people that are proclaimed addicts take about 20-30 pills a day. <br>About 40% of people that have used Xanax long term have reported that it has increased their depression. <br>Xanax has had the second largest growth in production in the last five years only behind Hydrocodone since the decline in prescribing Oxycontin. </div>]]></description>
