In "Perfectly Pan-Fried Tofu", Charis had flashbacks of her elementary & middle school friends not liking the smell of her Korean tofu lunch and usually scooting away from her to avoid the smell. But then in high school, her new friend, and the entire class in the lunchroom ate all of the tofu from her lunchbox.
